Fall Planting

Several weeks ago I managed to sneak away from my chaotic canning kitchen and start sowing my fall crops. This is what my garden looked like the beginning of September.
beans
beets
peas
my fall peas were planted with seeds I dried from the spring harvest 🙂
radishes
spring mix
sweet dumpling winter squash

zucchini

Waltham butternut squash

  1. Nice job on the peas!!! Awesome seed saving!!!!

  2. Thanks Kristi! I was very pleased with their germination rate and speed! Next year's beans will be grown with this year's seeds. My only concern is cross pollination of my green and yellow varieties…I can't plant a mile apart! haha
